Payment Processing Times
The time it takes for your payment to process determines how soon your order can be fulfilled. This article explains the usual time frames for payments processing.
Important Note:
We have no control over the processing time of any transaction and there is no way to expedite the processing of any payment. In in doubt, please check with your bank or financial institution about the indicative time frames. Times specified here are purely indicative.
Credit and debit card transactions
Card transactions made online are processed by Stripe. We get notified as soon as your card is charged. Orders are usually fulfilled soon after a successful payment, unless we have been notified of suspected fraud or missing details.
Pre-authorisations
In some cases, we may pre-authorise the value of your order in advance. When this happens, the amount will show as “pending”. This is also known as a “hold” on your card. Once we are ready to fulfill your order, your card will be charged.
If your order is cancelled by us, the pre-authorised amount will be released. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take up to 2 weeks for those funds to become available to you. Please reach out to your bank or card issuer for more information on when released funds can be reflected on your account.
Bank transfers
The processing time for bank transfers usually depend on where the transfer has been initiated from.
Local bank transfers
Usually, local bank transfers are settled in our bank account on the same business day, given that the transfer was made between 9 AM and 11 PM. Public holidays, system outages, or planned maintenance may result in delays.
International bank transfers
International transfer times vary by location, bank, and other regulatory requirements and processes. We recommend you check with your bank or financial institution as we have no way of querying a transfer we did not initiate.
